and buy your first item, just follow these simple steps: |

1. Get registered for free |

2. Search an item |
|
3. View details of an item listing |
|
4. Select an item to purchase |
|
5. View the rating and overall reputation of the seller of the selected item. This
is a buying tip, not a compulsory step |
|
6. Purchase the item |
|
7. Get e-mail notifications |
|
8. Send your payment to the seller |
|
9. Get the tracking number for your shipment from the seller |
|
10. Leave feedback once you receive the product |
|
|
|
1. Get registered for free |
|
|
|
Registration on eBidDirect is fast and free! All you need to do is: |
|
|
|
a) Fill out the registration form completely and click the Submit button.

b) A registration confirmation e-mail will be sent to your e-mail address which
you provided on registration form. Click on the activation link in the confirmation
e-mail to activate your account, and you will be moved to eBidDirect login page
automatically.

c) Enter the User ID and Password that you provided on the registration form and
click on the “Login” button. You will then be logged into your account on eBidDirect.
Now you’re ready to make your first purchase! |

2. Search an item |
|
|
|
Enter appropriate keywords into the search box located at the top of any page and
click on the “Search” button, or browse through the list of categories on the home
page.
|
|
|
|
3. View details of an item listing |
|
|
|
Listings for Items matching your keywords will be displayed in a grid. Click on
the “Item Title” of your required item. The item detail page will be opened, which
includes all the details for the item listing provided by the seller (i.e. item
description, price, image(s), shipping and handling cost, tax details, return policy). |

|
|
4. Select an item to purchase |
|
|
|
Before purchasing an item, make sure that you view and understand all the necessary
details about the item. If you have any questions about the item, you can ask the
seller by clicking the "Contact the seller" link on the item detail page. |
|
|
|
5. View the rating and overall reputation of the seller of the selected item |
|
|
|
Once you have decided to purchase an item, you should view the seller’s overall
reputation on eBidDirect and read the comments of previous buyers left for this
seller. To view the seller’s rating, click on the seller ratings on the item detail
page. |
|
|
|
6. Purchase the item |
|
|
|
You can purchase an item by any of the available purchase options for that item.
There are four purchase options available on eBidDirect: |
|
|
|
a) Bidding (Auction-style Sale): Place your bid for the item higher than the current
highest bid. You will win the item if your bid is the final bid. |
|
b) Get It Now: Pay the fixed price asked by the seller and the item will be yours. |
|
c) Best Offer: If the seller offers this option, make the seller a suitable offer
through eBidDirect for the item. The seller will choose among offers from different
buyers. If the seller chooses your offer you will win the item and be notified through
email. |
|
d) Swap Items: You can offer your item against the seller’s item for exchange: The
seller can accept or decline your offer. |
|
|
|
7. Get e-mail notifications
|
|
|
|
To keep you informed, eBidDirect automatically sends various e-mail notifications
to you regarding the key events of your buying process. eBidDirect sends e-mail
notifications when the following events occur: |
|
|
|
a) You placed a bid for an item |
|
b) You lost an item (someone else out-bid you on an item) |
|
c) You won an item (an auction has ended and you are the highest bidder) |
|
d) Invoice received from seller (eBidDirect sends invoices on behalf of sellers
automatically) |
|
e) You purchase an item by the Get It Now purchase option |
|
f) You placed a Best Offer for an item |
|
g) You placed a Swap Items offer for an item |
|
h) Seller has accepted or declined your Best Offer or Swap Items offer |
|
|
|
8. Send your payment to the seller
|
|
|
|
Once you have won or purchased the item, you should send your payment to the seller
within three calendar days. After winning or buying an item, you are obligated to
complete the transaction. You can make your payment by any of the following ways: |
|
|
|
a) Click on the “Pay Now” button in the invoice you received from the seller through
eBidDirect |
|
b) Log in into your account on eBidDirect and make your payment from the “My eBid”
dashboard |
|
c) If you pick up the item in person, you can pay by any method the seller accepts
(including cash). If you pay with cash, it is a good idea to obtain a receipt from
the seller that references your eBidDirect Invoice ID for the order. |
|
|
|
Note: It is important to contact the seller first, and in a timely manner, if you
need any additional details provided or need to resolve an issue about the transaction.
If an issue occurs with the transaction that you and the seller cannot resolve alone,
please consult to eBidDirect administrator, also you can consult to PayPal for your
disputes. |

|
|
9. Get the tracking number for your shipment from the seller |
|
|
|
After receiving payment from the buyer, the seller is responsible for shipping the
item according to the shipping and handling details stated by him/her. The seller
will provide the tracking number after shipping the item. Both the buyer and the
seller can use this tracking number to monitor the item in transit. If you fail
to get the package within the specified time frame, please notify the seller immediately
to resolve the issue. |

10. Leave feedback once you receive the product |
|
|
|
After receiving your item from the seller, complete the transaction by leaving feedback
for the seller regarding your overall experience about the transaction. You can
leave your feedback for the seller from the “My eBid” dashboard on eBidDirect. |
